International Workshop in collaboration with the Association of Environmental Science Study Programs of Indonesia (PEPSILI)

BOGOR, INDONESIA –The PASEC Project of IPB University proudly supported the International Workshop, themed "From Knowledge to Action: Strengthening Environment Management and Governance Through Multi-Stakeholder Engagement," on September 3, 2026. This theme is highly relevant to the PASEC project under Erasmus+ CBHE Strand 2, particularly for gaining stakeholder insights into science- and technology-supported environmental governance. The event is part of a collaborative series involving the Natural Resource and Environmental Management Science (NREMS) study program at the Graduate School, IPB University and the Association of Environmental Science Study Programs of Indonesia (PEPSILI). Speakers included representatives from universities and the Landscape Alliance (CIFOR-ICRAF in action). The event also served to introduce PASEC as an international collaboration focused on academic development and stakeholder engagement in curriculum design. Through its involvement, PASEC reaffirmed its commitment to advancing environmental research, strengthening academic networks, and empowering stakeholders toward sustainable development. IPB University is a member of a 10-university consortium—comprising both public and private institutions across six countries—dedicated to modernizing higher education through the application of modern geospatial technologies for precision agriculture and environmental sustainability. In addition to the workshop, the PEPSILI National Assembly elected the organization's general chairperson.
